Can I change the name of my company on the ProcessUnity Global Risk Exchange Platform?
Unfortunately, due to how our records are tied to external data sources, only two scenarios meet the criteria for a "name change" in our system:
1. Your company has legally changed its name.
2. Your company has a clear typo in the current name.
2. Your company has a clear typo in the current name.
However, Third Parties do encounter additional naming situations:
For example, if you are completing an assessment for Company A, but your company is in fact Company B, the request will need to be cancelled and the assessment deleted (along with all users). ProcessUnity will then work with the requesting Customer to place a new request on the correct company, and the assessment will need to be restarted. For security reasons we cannot migrate completed or in-progress assessments from company to company.
Another example is when the company name is too vague to clearly differentiate it from similarly named companies on the ProcessUnity Exchange. In cases like this, our team references public data such as the address, domain, and business classification to verify that it is the same entity as the company completing the assessment. If YES, we can try to differentiate the name. If NO (ie. the company is completing or has completed the assessment under the wrong name), unfortunately we are back to the example above where we need to cancel the request, delete the assessment, delete the users and start over again.
If you are unsure if your organization's situation falls into one of these scenarios or if you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to our support team: exchangesupport@processunity.com
